SOME NEW LISTINGS
NEW: MATT LAMEY CUSTOM FIGHTER This is a never carried, never used fighter by Matt lamey. Matt's work is spectacular! I own several other Bowies and fighters by him. This one is a fast handling fighter forged from 5160 steel with a stainless guard and micarta grip with a lined thong hole. The 9 inch blade has a beautiful long clip point that is semi-sharp and a primary edge that is razor sharp. The swell at the end of the grip facilitates a technique which increases the blade speed in a cut by pulling with the little finger. Hard to explain but it does work. It comes with a very high quality leather sheath instead of the ubiquitous plastic and kydex found prevalent today. The forward slope of the elegant guard makes for a comfortable thumb rest. This is a very high grade fighting knife that would be hard to upgrade at any price. Price shipped CONUS is $525.00 obo Shipped in a free zipper pouch. Matt's knives are selling for well over $1,000 now. Make me a reasonable offer.
O Tanto: A Custom large tanto (almost a wakizashi) by my old friend Gary Bradburn. It took three tries before he got a blade that didn't crack on quench. This magnificent tanto is the result. Stark simplicity with dyed red ray skin and epoxied black ito (wrap). It is water quenched hi carbon steel using the traditional clay coating to develop a genuine hamon. The one side has a very detailed sterling silver dragon menuki. The blade is 12.5 inches long with an overall length of 16 inches. It has been a safe queen all its life. Gary has passed and I am keeping all of his smaller tanto, but I am selling this one, and this one only. He was a master of the Shobu style tanto.
Gary was famous for his Shobu style Tanto and taught many aspiring bladesmiths his craft. I have debts to pay or else this would not be for sale. I am asking $650 OBO shipping included in CONUS. You won't find a custom tanto of this size and quality for any less. It comes with the fitted kydex sheath as shown.
